
Junior World Champion in 2017, Australian Matt Hauser finished 4th in the Commonwealth Games 2018 before scoring his first World Cup wins a year later, with back-to-back golds in Chengdu and Nur-Sultan. In 2021, Hauser scooped the bronze at the U23 World Championships.
From then on, Hauser had is sights set on greatness. A first WTCS win in Montreal in 2023 was followed up in Hamburg a year later, but it was in 2025 that everything clicked for the Australian number one. Going in to a home finals in Wollongong with a maximum 3000 points from three wins, he stormed to the Championship Finals gold to become World Champion in the most emphatic fashion.
