Mongolia’s Olympic torch relay reaches southern-most border point

Mongolia Triathlon special delegation, including representatives from Mongolia NOC, Mongolian Border Defence Authority, headed by Tsendsuren Sandui, NOC EB member & President of Mongolia Triathlon, has jointly reached “Orvog gashuunii bor tolgoi” most south point of Mongolian border line, situated in Umnugobi province. The olympic torch dedicated to Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games is carried by female athlete D.Urandelger and national flag is raised solemnly at the top of the sacred border hill, symbolising the good luck for Team Mongolia. Next olympic relay’s destination is the “Mongol Shariin Davaa” the most north point of 8252 km-long Mongolian border, located in Huvsgul province.
