Race Location: Jmi, Jmijrvi, Finland The race center, Jmi is located in Satakunta region, province of Western Finland, municipality of Jmijrvi. Two closest towns are Ikaalinen and Kankaanp, both 25 km away. Town Parkano is about 40 km away, Pori and Tampere around 75 km away from Jmi. From Helsinki area the journey to Jmi takes approximately three hours. All race venues and courses are located in the same place, as well as all accommodation. The postal address is Sormelantie 77, 3880 Jmijrvi, Finland RACE CATEGORIES AND DISTANCES: Elite (female/male), U23 (female/male) and Age Groups 20-75 (female/male): Run 6km (2 laps) Mountain Bike 11,4km (4 laps) Cross Country Ski 10km (2 laps) Juniors (U19): Run 3km (1 lap) -- Mountain Bike 5,7km (2 laps)-- Cross Country Ski 5km (1lap) Open Race: Run 6km (2 laps) Mountain Bike 11,4km (4 laps) Cross Country Ski 10km (2 laps) Team Relay (female/male Elite, U23 and U19) : Run 3km (1 lap) -- Mountain Bike 5,7km (2 laps)-- Cross Country Ski 5km (1lap) Race courses: Run: non--asfalt road, out--and--back course, 1 lap is 3km, doesnt include major climbs. Mountain Bike: 1 lap is appr. 2,8km. Surface will be snowy and with one major, steep limb and one technical downhill. Cross Country Ski: 1 lap is 5km, track is quite demanding with several up and downhills. All entries have to se submitted to the ITU on line entries only. Only the National Federations can enter athletes, therefore the athletes have to enter the race via their NF. The entries questions have to be directed to entries@triathlon.org. No athlete will be included in the start list if the entry has not be processed through ITU on--line entry system.
