World Triathlon

The 2012 EC Cross Triathlon is the perfect try-out for the 2013 WC Cross Triathlon on the same venue, July 13th 2013. Free entry for EC participants to the MTB Beach criterium and Sea swim event. SWIM COURSE 1 km 2 laps Beach mass start Water temperature: 17/18 Ocean swim The current and heavy surf can be a real challenge. MTB COURSE 26 km 3 laps The start is on the beach 40% of the MTB course is on the beach. The rest and more technical parts are in the dunes, where the athletes are faced with steep hills, long stairs and soft sand. CC RUN COURSE 9 km 3 laps The course is in the dunes and on the beach. In the dunes the athletes have to climb and descend some steep hills. The finish is on the crowded boulevard of the seaside resort of Kijkduin (The Hague). Prize money distribution.
