World Triathlon

Horst aan de Maas is about 10 kilometer to the north of Venlo in the province of Limburg and lies next to the A73 highway. Exits 10 or 11 lead you directly into the town centre. Parking areas are signed. Ongoing traffic is offered an alternative route through Horst during the race weekend. The race secreatariat is housed in sports facility ‘De Berkel’ at the Linnenstraat 20 in Horst. This is also the location of the pre-race briefing on Saturday, and the official awards ceremony on Sunday. The Transition Area is located on the parking lot in front of the Jan Linders supermarket, between the Kerkstraat and the Hoofdstraat for the EC long. The entry for the Transition Area (for checking in / checking out your bike) is from the Hoofdstraat. The Transition Area for the EC Sprint is on the Lambertusplein. This is a square in front of the church also in the centre of the city. Entries for the EC have to go through the Powermansystem www.powerman.nl and through the ITU system as well. Both are mandatory. The pre-race pasta party is Saturday-evening the 20th April at the PTC+ on the Pastoor de Beijestraat 64 in Horst-Hegelsom. You can order tickets online with your entry, or buy them at the race-office. Prize money distribution.
