This event is on the heels of the Clermont ITU Pan American Cup: http://www.triathlon.org/events/event/2013_clermont_itu_sprint_triathlon_pan_american_cup/ The Clermont ITU Pan American Cup is a sprint distance race weekend before this event (March – 9-10th). Clermont is approx. a 90 minute drive from Sarasota. Organizer can suggest places to stay and train during the weekend in between the races! Please note that all athletes need to register ONLINE to the following website: http://www.nbpchallenge.com/index.php COURSES SWIM 1,5 km, 2 laps Lake Start mechanism: pontoon BIKE 40 km, 8 laps 2 big turns, otherwise very flat and very fast Brand new road (smooth pavement) RUN 10 km, 4 laps Very flat and very fast Prize money distribution.
