Pokljuka, a forest karst plateau in the heart of Triglav National Park is the ideal base to perform a captivating race, surrounded by beautiful and high mountains which arouse a strong energy to compete in a course full of challenges. In this occasion the race will be an exciting moment, as the Elites and Age Groupers challenge each other in order to win the "ETU TNatura Cross Triathlon European Cup"! COURSE SWIM: 1,5 km (2 laps of 750 m) The race starts from the beach of Lake Bohinj. Slovenia’s largest lake is a picture of peace and serenity. With its crystal clear water, brooding and mystical feels are encouraged by the steep mountain faces that rise out of the of the lake on the northern side, with mountain peaks also dominating the background to the west and south. BIKE: 22 km (4 laps of 5,5 km, with more than 500 m of climbing) The bike course is 4 laps 5,5km long course with a single steep climb. It is an attractive course on mostly gravel roads, combining riding on the coast of Lake Bohinj, through the small village called Stara Fužina and over the historically known Devil’s bridge. RUN: 8 km (6 laps of 1,2 km) The run lap is short but dynamic! It will take you near the coast of Lake Bohinj, on gravel single path over a short hill and back to the transition area.
