2016 Copenhagen ETU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon European Championship consists of two distances Classic Distance: 10km run | 60km bike | 10km run Short Distance: 5km run | 20 km bike | 5km run ETU Powerman Denmark European Championship EC 30 KM bike course for Classic Distance will take you around the windy part of Amager. See the course here: http://ruteplanner.iform.dk/rute/koebenhavn-s/powerman-denmark-classic All this with a beautiful view of the waterside along the course. The bike course is on a loop and will take you into the Powerman Venue and turning point is at the venue area. People will cheer, music will be playing and the lap will count. The Swedbank Run course will be a loop of 5 km and the same before and after you set your bike into the TZ area at the Powerman venue. ENTRY: All athletes who wish to enter the ETU EC LD (elite, para and age-groups) have to register at the LOC system by their National Federation (NF) before April 3rd. All NF have received login to the LOC system so they can sign up their athletes. All entries will be submitted to ITU for approval. The NF decides over admission of any athlete (elite, para and age-groups) into the ETU EC category. Athletes who already have entered already and paid, will be removed by Team Managers or into the LOC system. Option 1: Interested elite and age group athletes contact the national federation of their own country. After a nomination from their own federation, the federation will enter athletes in the official LOC system. Each NF receive a login. This entry will be accepted from LOC (Powerman) as authorization for the ITU European Championships (elite or age-group). Then each athlete will be moved from to the ETU Powerman Denmark European championship start list. Option 2: Elite and age-group athletes who have to pay their entry fee by their own, have to enter themselves in the online registration system of the LOC. They pay the current entry fee by credit card or bank transfer. After registration, all of these athletes are first entered in the “open” category on the start list of LOC. Following confirmation by the national federation through the entry in the LOC official system, LOC will transfer them to the ITU and then at the start list of LOC. Note: Without the confirmation of the national federation within April 3rd , and without payment before the event, NO bip number will be given and a start at the race is NOT possible!
